Upcoming Changes for the 2013-2014 School Year

Redistricting: At the School Board meeting last month, it was decided that the number of students being redistricted to Broadus Wood next school year from Agnor-Hurt Elementary School.  We are estimating that about 35 new students will enroll living in the neighborhoods along Woodlands and Earlysville Roads.  We are pleased to welcome all children and their families who will be joining us next school year!  Broadus Wood staff and PTO are well prepared to make the transition smooth for everyone involved.

Upcoming Changes for the 2013-2014
  1. 1.     Redistricting: Dr. Moran recommended to the school board based on the redistricting committee’s input for an additional 46 students to transfer to Broadus Wood.  The school board will have a public hearing on March 14 with their decision on the recommendation soon to follow.  I will continue to forward more redistricting information as it becomes available.
